Trip Wiggins: Probate: Trip will cover Probate and will define some terms specific to the probate process, discuss Wills, Administration papers, estate inventories, Guardianship papers; what you can derive from these, and where to find all this stuff with a few examples.
Trip Wiggins has been doing genealogy since his maternal grandmother got him interested in the early 1970s. He is a past FRGS president along with past VP, Secretary, and newsletter editor and has given a few dozen genealogy presentations to FRGS and other local organizations.
Ray Maki: “Searching for Maiden Names” – one of the most difficult aspects of genealogical research. Specific examples will demonstrate alternative search strategies.
Ray joined FRGS in 2011, the year he moved to Fredericksburg from
Connecticut where he had been actively involved with the inception of
that town’s genealogy club. He served as VP – Programs from 2012 to
2015 and as VP –Membership in 2016.
