Julie Cabitto will demonstrate some ways to use maps to help break down brick walls. Among the maps she uses are Census, Library of Congress, and USGS Topographical sources. Julie will also give a general overview of her personal map project which is helping her find cemeteries and old houses in rural Virginia. She warns that her technique is unique and perhaps not for the meek; it has taken her years to figure out how to do it.
Julie blogs about her research at MecklenburgVaDiscoveries.com.
